Arrived at the hotel and paid cash for a room. After paying, I viewed the room and noticed a bad smell, and lack of aircon. Also there was no view out the window, just a concrete wall.
I went a few minutes after viewing the room to request a refund, but was given only something like 75-85% due to their refund policy (I was only in the room for a few minutes).
Do not recommend, there are much better hotels in the same price range.
The inn has poor housekeeping services. They have nice wall paint accent but cleanliness of floors and windows are poorly maintained. The management has to do something about it.
Metro Pines Inn is walking distance to Burnham Park and Baguio’s night market, which was really nice. Parking is available in the basement area but very limited. Service was ok, some staff were not so hospitable. Superior roome booked had a view of the city but not all rooms have view and is facing the wall of another building. Unfortunately, the room did not seem very clean. I had bug bites (which look like bedbug bites) all over my shoulder a night after staying there and two cockroaches were found walking around.
Upon our arrival, we were disappointed to realize that there were no remaining parking spaces available. Furthermore, when we inspected our room, we were shocked to find that it lacked basic amenities, such as air conditioning. In fact, the only ventilation came from an electric fan and a window which looked out onto a wall. We were dismayed to spend so much on a room that was inadequately equipped. Despite our requests for a refund, the hotel management was uncooperative, particularly regarding the sub-par condition of our room. Instead, we decided to stay at Hotel Elizabeth. Thankfully, our bank intervened and allowed us to dispute the charges. We recommend that others avoid this establishment at all costs.
Amazing location. Accessible to everything you need (mall, park, restaurant). There is parking as well. The only downside are the windows ( with a room that I booked) 2 twin beds which is only available through Expedia. You open the window and you see a wall, pitch black and claustrophobic. Otherwise, It's a decent property. You get what you paid for. Staff are wonderful. Clean rooms but needs furniture update.
+Very good location. Near parks and restaurants and Groceries.
+Clean, with tables and Chairs and Cabinet in the room. With wifi and TV.
+Nice tiled wall toilet, nice colors.
-No slippers on room. Floor tiles are slippery with a wet feet specially the toilet floor that its very slippery.
-front office and lobby is located at 3rd floor though it has a tiny elevator for going up and down.
Location is great, wi-fi is good but my for the price I paid ($2500/night) I should at least have a window and AC. The "window" opens to a dark wall. Most hotels will give you a balcony at this price.
Rooms were nice (be aware that some have windows that are facing a building and no light enters the rooms). It's located very centric.
Unfortunately the staff didn't remit us parts of the second night (which we tried to cancel because we had to leave earlier) and still made us pay the rooms upgrade (so we would have an actual window). So we kind of paid double.
